These projects involve networking with the range of experts on GI cancer predisposition within the InSiGHT membership. With agreement of submitters of data to the databases, projects exploring the data held in the InSIGHT databases offers opportunities for research. Projects suitable for Honours, Masters, PhDs and sabbaticals can be discussed for suitable candidates, through the University of Melbourne.
No funding is available, but with notice, applications for funding can be made. Fluency in English is important, and an appropriate tertiary degree. Visa and, in some circumstances, professional regulatory approval from the Australian Health Professionals Regulatory Authority may be required. Some projects can be done remotely, though most benefit would come from the candidate(s) residing in Melbourne.
